Upsells let you offer extra items — logbooks, drinks, equipment, merchandise — right at checkout. Customers see them after they pick a session and can add them to the basket with a single click. It’s a quick way to increase basket size and make sure customers turn up with everything they need.
Upsells reference shop products. Add-ons are a different concept — they’re optional extras tied to a session and aren’t tracked in your shop inventory.

Add upsells to a session

1

Open the session

Go to Products → Sessions and open the session you want to add upsells to.
2

Open the Upsells tab

Inside the session editor, switch to the Upsells tab.
3

Pick the shop products

Click Add, then select up to three shop products to offer alongside this session — logbooks, water bottles, branded merch, refreshments, and so on.
4

Save

Save the session. The upsells appear at checkout automatically.

At checkout

When a customer adds the session to their basket, the upsells appear under the session as suggested items. Each has an Add button — one click puts it in the basket alongside the booking. Customers can adjust quantities or remove upsells before paying.

When upsells work best

  • Small extras customers might forget: water, snacks, sun cream.
  • Course materials: logbooks, training manuals.
  • Branded merch: T-shirts, caps, stickers.
  • Equipment add-ons that wouldn’t fit as a per-person add-on: a single set of binoculars, a shared mat.

Stock and pricing

Upsells use the same stock counts as the underlying shop product. If a logbook is out of stock, the upsell stops appearing at checkout until you restock it. Pricing comes from the shop product — discount codes that cover shop products apply as normal.
